A great-grandmother in South Africa has celebrated her 100th birthday with a skydive near Cape Town
Family from all over the world traveled to Cape Town, South Africa to support Georgina Harwood as she celebrated her 100th birthday by jumping out of an airplane.

Fifteen members of her family and friends came to jump with her in groups of three. It was Harwood’s third skydive. Her first was eight years ago, when she was 92.

Harwood’s effort was also to raise money for National Sea Rescue Institute.
During an interview she said..
“It was wonderful, it was exhilarating,” she told reporters after the jump. “I’m trying to think of the adjectives I can add to, but it is very difficult, there are so many adjectives. But it was definitely a very special, exhilarating experience, even this jump seemed to be a little bit different from the previous ones.”

But there is more, Harwood’s not done yet. On Monday, she also plans on doing a little shark cage diving .
